Website and branding for a Rust dev tool.
analytics, design, development
We built a website for Kinetics, a serverless Rust platform, making a complex product easy to understand through a distinct visual identity.
- About
- Kinetics is a serverless platform for Rust developers who want to build things quickly, not spending time on managing infrastructure. It brings all types of backend workloads into one local-first workflow. Developers can test their functions locally and deploy it to the cloud with the same behavior.
- What we did
- We designed and built the website from scratch, with the goal of making a complex technical product easy to understand. The modular grid, dark interface, terminal-inspired elements, and cyan accents reflect the experience of working with Kinetics while giving the product a distinct visual identity.
On the branding side
Alongside the website, we created a cohesive set of brand guidelines to keep Kinetics consistent. The guidelines cover the logo and its correct use, typography, color palette, spacing rules, visual principles, and clear do’s and don’ts. This gives the team a practical foundation for applying the brand across the web, marketing materials, and future products.
Result
The result is a clear and focused website that guides visitors through the platform’s benefits, features, code examples, pricing, and onboarding process. It communicates what Kinetics does without overwhelming the developers it was built for.
